Connecting Facebook Pages
Connect Facebook Pages to your workspace to publish and manage posts.
Connect a Facebook Page to your workspace from Settings → Integrations → Connect Meta. The connect flow takes you through Facebook's OAuth dialog and brings every Page you manage back into the workspace.
What this connects
You grant the app permission to read and publish to the Facebook Pages you administer. We never touch your personal profile, friends, or messages — only Pages where you are an admin or editor.
What we store
- An encrypted access token per connected Page (envelope-encrypted at rest; the plaintext token never leaves the server boundary).
- The Page ID and display name so the workspace can list connections.
- The scopes you granted and the timestamp of consent.
We never store your Facebook password. Tokens are scoped to the Pages you select — revoking a Page revokes the access for that Page only.
How to revoke
You can disconnect from either side:
- In the product — Settings → Integrations → click Disconnect on the Page row. The access token is revoked at Meta and the row is removed immediately.
- At Facebook — facebook.com → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → find the app → Remove. This forces revoke at the source if anything went wrong with step 1.
Troubleshooting
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| "Security check failed. Please try connecting again." | The connect link was tampered with or replayed. Restart the connect from Settings → Integrations. |
| "The connection link expired." | The connect link is good for 10 minutes. Click Connect Meta again to start fresh. |
| "Your session changed during the connection." | You signed in as a different user mid-flow. Sign in again, then retry. |
| "You declined the permissions Facebook requested." | You unticked one or more permissions in the Facebook dialog. Retry and leave all boxes checked. |
| "Your Facebook account doesn't manage any Pages yet." | Create a Page on Facebook first, then come back. |
| "Facebook is temporarily unavailable." | Meta's side is failing. Retry in a few minutes. |
| "Your role doesn't allow connecting Meta accounts." | Ask a workspace owner or admin to connect, or have your role updated. |
